Who is invited? Mortgage, Lending, Wholesale Lendors, Vendors, Realtors, Builders - anyone and everyone in the Mortgage & Real Estate or a connected business.
What do I bring? A big stack of business cards, no flyers please. Only Sponsors
can pass out materials. Please respect the sponsor's time
and expense to put together these great events.
What's
included? Specials will vary by location. AMP attendees receive special discounts OR complimentary drink tickets at each event, depending on sponsorship participation and promotion. Carson's Buffet and appetizers are typically complimentary for our
guests.
What do I do when
I get there? Drop a business card in the bowl and
get a name badge. The business card shows our sponsors who
has attended and enters you in the drawing for door prizes.
How do I get on
the invitation list? Add your email address in
this link – then click the link on the “opt-in”
email you receive. We are SPAM compliant.
Can I add other
mortgage friends to the list? Of course, we want
to continue to grow our invitation list, just make sure
they opt-in once they receive the email from us confirming.
Please feel free to promote and forward the invitations
you receive to others in the industry.
How do I get off
the invitation list? At the bottom of every email
we send is a link to remove your email address. We take
your privacy seriously and try not to SPAM.
I did not get the
invitation and I know I am on the list! Many people are missing emails due to their corporate or
ISP spam filter. Get with your IT department or adjust your
settings to receive information from scott@digitalorigination.com. You may also want to give us your personal email address to make sure you get invitiations.
DFWAMP Folklore
& History – Over a few cold beverages in the Fall of 2003 at
the original Café Gecko, Scott Harris & Greg
Patty (www.Gpatty.com)
met Mike Welch, Wayne Holt, Greg Graham, Machelle Warner,
Gina Cantisano, Scott Warren, Tracey McJunkin, Don &
Connie Hearn and Mark & Cindy Connor and a few others
for an after work beverage and remembered the “Good
Old Days” when Prestonwood Mall was still in business
and Gecko and Vernon’s were the center of the mortgage
universe, you know the bars, “Where everybody knows
your name.”
DigitalOrigination.com started
meeting at Carson’s as a way to meet with our current
and prospective web design clients.
The first few months we
grew from 20 to 40 people them to over 100, Mike Welch with
Credit Plus, then Greg Graham with Black Mann & Graham
offered to pitch in so we could invite more.
The invitation list grew,
the website was created, all the DFW mortgage broker and
banker associations participated in promoting their meetings
and events on the Upcoming Events page, and the photo albums
went up. Hundreds, now thousands of people log on to see
the photos of the people and fun they either they witnessed
or missed!
In the spirit of the "good
ol days", the Mortgage Ski Trip was recreated, but
this time with beaches, bikini’s and all-inclusive
resorts. Stay tuned for announcements of upcoming get-aways!
More to come.....
